Halloween season has begun (for me) HAUL #1

So last weekend I tried looking for some "spookywares" but they hadn't put much (if anything) out yet at most stores. Yesterday however, the Halloween marketing has appeared to have begun in some of my favorite retail outlets.

The following is some things I purchased for the kitchen from these stores : Home Goods, TJmaxx, Ross

Home Goods informed me they are getting a lot for Halloween this year, and their merchandise shipment schedules are Tuesday, Thursday  and Saturday.

Also, the @Home store has their holiday collection out as of LAST weekend. Although, not much in the way of "year-round spooky" and mostly strictly Halloween decor but I will go back again to take pictures of what they have and post separately.

Last year, I believe at Home Goods, they had these silver skelton hand salad tossers and I am really hoping I can find them again this year because for some reason I didn't buy them.

Does it come in Black?

To say I am obsessed with the spooky lifestyle would be an understatement. After all my Husband and I were married on Halloween. Every year we make room in our budget for our Halloween season shopping spree. It really is the only time of the year I can find things we actually like for our every day home decor. And, of course we do some extra spooky decorating for the holiday!

I decided I would try to do this blog for those like-minded individuals (and families) out there.
We are in the process of relocating from Atlanta GA to Hartford CT, so I can not promise I will be on top of this but I am really going to try.

Originally from Massachusetts, my Husband and I moved to the south 4 and a half years ago for adventure and work (among other things). We have enjoyed our experience and have gotten to see and explore much along the way. However, since having our first child last August we have decided to return to our roots in beautiful New England so that close friends and family can enjoy our precious little monster as much as we do (and babysit for free).

I thought this would be the best time to start this little project. You know, to add to my list of things to do in the midst of uprooting our lives with a toddler, 2 cats and 2 dogs in tow. Makes sense.
But, I figure with a new chateau soon, stomping grounds to explore (and shop), I can take you all along with me as I decorate the new house, craft, parent, go crazy...

This isn't a strictly home decorating blog, but more chronicling our family lifestyle. We'll see what this truly molds into as we go...
